The Amazon #1 Bestseller Gollywood, Here I Come! blossomed from an animated TV series concept called Gobbleville.
The suburban landscape sets the stage for the citizens of Gobbleville to live and work. They attend barbecues, fairs, festivals, and parades in a homespun community.
Animaniacs, Back at the Barnyard, Green Acres, Mayberry R.F.D., Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Warehouse 13, Zootopia
The background setting is one of cultural expansion, featuring museums, amusement parks, and themed restaurants. The visual component is Googie-themed architecture that sets the stage for the citizens of Gobbleville to live and work.
City Hall is in the center of town. Around the corner is Gotta Flap Dance Studio, where Anamazie takes ballet, jazz, and tap classes. Wattle View School is nearby. The Feather Fluff Salon offers a variety of cosmetic treatments. Next to the bank is the Okie-Dokie Diner.
Everyone brings their fine clothing to the Spick & Span Cleaners. The Spring Valley Fire Department is at the corner of Gobbleville Boulevard and Pickle Place. Then there's Fan-the-Tail Lanes and the Kee-Kee-Run Arcade. Near the Gas Station is Slim Gym. The only grocery store is Reed's Feed Shop, which has grass, grain, insects, berries, vegetable scraps, and leafy greens.
Juxtaposed is Gollywood, which is electric and promoted as the most glamorous place on earth. Gobbleville residents are skeptical of the birds in this big city due to their outlandish behavior.

ANAMAZIE is an intelligent, attractive, multi-talented girl discovered on Gobbleville's Got Talent and becomes a movie star.
TOMMY JR. often finds himself at odds with Judge Jinny due to his rebellious nature. While he dreams of a career in Rock 'n' Roll, his parents envision a future for him as a Gizzardologist.
TOM is their dad, who serves as Gobbleville's mayor. He maintains order in the community, overseeing the town council and executing tasks efficiently, dramatically, and swiftly, moving from one event to the next.
HENRIETTA PEARL is an accomplished actress who has starred in productions at the Korn-a-Plenty community theatre. She guides Anamazie on theater etiquette and helps with her study habits.
UNCLE BEN thinks he's Benjamin Franklin and dresses in full colonial garb. He starts every sentence with "I remember when…" and segues into historical quotes.
UNCLE BUMBLE is the only handyman in Gobbleville. His complicated and clumsy way of fixing things often leads to precarious situations.
GRANDMA MIMI is a cranky old lady, not a frail flower. As head of the Vegan Enforcers SWAT team, she is tenacious about ensuring that youngsters eat only vegetables.
The irrepressible JUDGE JINNY holds court as the presiding judge at City Hall. Her no-nonsense and concise approach is shocking, but her word is final. She believes in tough love, even involving a family member.
AGNES, the ballet teacher at the Gotta Flap Dance Studio, is a fanatic about personal hygiene and also an influence of discipline in everyday life. AUDREY owns the Feather Fluff Salon and is always "dressed up to the nines." This gossip queen is on the pulse of what's happening in town. The story expands like a corn soufflé with each turkey she talks to.
ENID is a server at the Okie-Dokie Diner. She starts with, "Yeah, whada ya want," while chewing gum. Someone may innocently ask, "What's the special?" Enid replies, "How about a knuckle sandwich?"
ZIONA works at the Spick & Span Cleaners. She is a close talker and always in a cheerful mood. HOOSER and SPARKEY are firemen at The Spring Valley Fire Department. They enjoy appearing in parades. JIM is the personal trainer at Slim Gym. He's a robust bird and wears close-fitting t-shirts. GRANT is the teller at the Banc of Gobbleville.
ARBUCKLE, the manager at Kee-Kee-Run arcade, looks tough but has a heart of gold. ROWAN checks out the shoes at Fan-the-Tail Lanes and personally sets up the wooden pins. REED is everyone's favorite grocer at Reed's Feed Shop.

Miss Stikklebower is everyone's favorite teacher at Wattle View School.

Anamazie arrives at Gollywood Studios and is escorted to a soundstage, where she meets film director J.B. Tuttlebaum. She reads a scene with his assistant. J.B. smiles as Anamazie recites her lines.

From old Gollywood to the current time, Jake Quigglemap is among the leading heartthrobs and a rising star at Gollywood Studios. He can be temperamental on set, but he is worth it for the box office draw.

Edith Noggin creates the perfect costume for Anamazie's first film, The Turkey and I. The designer has exceptional knowledge of color palettes and the movement required for musicals.

A young actor stumbles on more than fame when she meets a magic elevator, and mysterious props whisk her into iconic movie scenes.
During a movie shoot, waiting between takes can be utterly dull. Filled with curiosity, ANAMAZIE and her actor friends sneak away to explore the studio lot. After passing sound stages, winding down Colonial Street, and traversing different sets, Anamazie sees a building behind an unkept, overgrown garden. They move through the shrubbery and stumble upon a secret warehouse filled with old movie props.
Each prop stored here was imbued with magical powers by wannabe Wizard/ Propmaker PERCY McNUTIA, a persnickety man obsessed with details. His effort to be authentic went awry, and these props were banned and hidden in this warehouse on the outskirts of the studio.
Unbeknownst to Anamazie and her colleagues, the actors find themselves whisked away to another place and time in history as they act out a scene with the props.
Exhilarated that someone finally discovered this clandestine storeroom, CHECKMATE, the featured chess clock in Searching for Bobby Fischer, befriends Anamazie and the kids. He tags along as their companion to ensure their safe return.
Anamazie and co-star JAKE QUIGGLEMAP run along Nowhere Lane. They move from the back of a facade to the front of a superficial hotel. Jake pushes the revolving door and enters. After a full rotation, he grabs Anamazie, and they twirl into an old lobby.
Completely baffled, they carefully walk through the dusty foyer. Jake starts to goof around and acts like a Bellhop. Anamazie jumps onto a luggage cart, which he rolls down a passageway. An elevator is at the end of the hall, and the doors mysteriously open. Anamazie gasps as Jake brings the cart to a halt. "I dare you," they say in unison. Jake delivers a grand gesture, "Ladies first," and follows Anamazie inside. The doors close. They both press buttons on the control panel. Nothing happens. Jake's nervous energy turns into a rap that triggers a response; the elevator lurches and takes off like a rocket.
ELLIE, the MAGIC ELEVATOR, takes them to fun places in the past, future, and various countries in the present. They participate in other communities and encounter children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
